March 1, 2008 – Columbia, SC - EasyHRweb™, a leading provider of new employee acquisition management for the education and higher education markets, is proud to announce the development of a pilot technical education project for the state of Georgia’s technical colleges. The technical colleges are re-defining their hiring processes by utilizing the web-hosted JobCenter product provided by EasyHRweb.
The Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education have built a statewide network for technical education, including a system of 34 technical colleges. This network takes pride in keeping their campuses abreast of cutting edge technology; taking great strides in promoting easy access to lifelong learning for all Georgians.
Most of the technical schools are transitioning from traditional, paper-based hiring processes into a new electronic system. The schools are excited about the ability to manage their applicants more easily and have the capability to communicate in real time with candidates. The applicant will have the ability to navigate through the hiring process more rapidly, permitting the schools human resource departments to make hiring decisions with minimal lag time.
